The philosophies of money sometimes sound absurd to the naked ear and eye. But in strange ways, they work. There is something about money that borders madness but works nonetheless.
In my recent reading, Rob Moore suggests that if you desire money, you carry the amount you want to make that day in your wallet. This is not for spending, but just to remain there. Carry what you require to spend in the day separately.
This in a sense plays into the psychology of money and connecting to the spiritual realms of money. This is a habit I had stopped for most of this year in favour of a mobile wallet. But somehow opportunities seemed to dry up for me. So after reading this concept, I opted to give it a try by converting some wallet money into hard cash and putting it nicely in my wallet on the column that makes it clear this is not for spending.
Less than 3 days after I did this, I got a call for an assignment from nowhere. Many more have come in quick succession. One may imagine this may have just been ordinary co-incidences, but often they are not.
In Think and Grow Rich, Napoleon Hill talks about the Master Mind while Robin Sharma explores the role of mindsets in the money equation. The more your mind is aligned towards money, the easier it flows towards you. The Richest Man in Babylon presents the case that Gold attracts more Gold. In essence, it is like the money you keep in your wallet and walk around with calls for more money from within and without.
This is why it is argued that when you desire something with all your mind and soul, the forces of the universe unite to make it turn into reality. So today we explore why you need to be more appreciative of your money, regardless of how much or little you may think it is.
- Gratitude multiplies – anything that is appreciated grows. In the same way, other things in life like love, acts of kindness, and simple thank you open doors, and the same rules apply to money. Giving thanks for your money will surely multiply it in the most mysterious ways that you will never understand;
- Praying and letting go frees you of worry – a long time ago I used to spend long hours at night thinking and worrying about where I will get money for my livelihood. Over the years, I have learned to make my prayers early in the morning, ask for my lot from the universe and go about my daily activities in peace. This has worked miracles and brought a lot of peace, and some cash of course;
- Money does not fall from heaven – once you’ve submitted your supplication to the almighty, the floodgates of heaven shall open from the ordinary things that you do for a living. This could be through an amazing opportunity in the workplace, opening doors for customers to your business or a chance to better yourself. It never happens in a vacuum;
- This is a demonstration of faith – money comes if you have absolute faith in what you do. You wake up every day to go to work because you’ve faith that the employer will pay you at the end of the month. You plant seeds because you have faith it will rain in season and your crop will grow to fruit and find a buyer in the market. This is just how the world of money works – it is about faith, and then taking your chances; in the process, you will win and win big;
- Money systems are built on trust a heart of gratitude also means you have trust in not only the money but also in the system. All financial systems the world over are built on trust. You cannot lack trust in the very system that oils the world of money and expect to win against it. It simply doesn’t work like that!
