Walk past your fears to get into your reservoir of Money and Wealth

Human nature is born of fear over many things. We all have our fears and that is okay. However, we exist in a world of uncertainty about what tomorrow may bring. Many of our daily decisions have to be made within this cloud of the unknown.

How each one of us confronts this set of universal fears sets us apart over time. Unfortunately, to make progress in life one has to deal with uncertainty by making choices despite the unknowns. A minority, the winners, are often unafraid to make the decisions that have to be made now and deal with the eventualities that may arise along the way.

To others, the majority who only end up playing in the league of averages or outright losers waste so much time meandering in their fears. In the end, decisions that need to be made end up unmade or made too late when the fearless have gone home with the golden crowns.

The year 2024 is just beginning, the question is what shall you do to make it different from the others that have passed by? Here are plausible reasons why you must overcome your fears:

  1. While fear is in our human nature, it can be overcome through willpower – there will always be something to be afraid or unsure of in your daily life. It thus makes no sense to remain hostage to those fears for you shall never make enough progress in life if you dwell so much on those fears. Just refine your mindset and attitude to confront them and move on;
  2. The rewards are always beyond the fear zone – no business ever succeeds before it is started; no great speech is ever delivered without the speaker stepping into the arena to face his/her audience; no race is worn before the winner squares it out with their competitors in the playing field; no exam is passed before the candidate seats in for it and boldly wrestles with the examiners’ questions; no money or wealth is accumulated before the owner accepts the risks of losing it first or even leaving it behind in the event of death. So if this is the human reality, what use is it to procrastinate over it? Just do what has to be done and move on;
  3. Our thoughts often exaggerate the fear factor far beyond reality – the thoughts we harbor in our minds are usually more than the actual reality once we step into action. In many ways, the human spirit is wired in a way that it is capable of adapting and becoming creative as challenges emerge along the way. But you can only unlock this potential while in the arena of things not while crying excuses in a state of inaction;
  4. When you step into action, the forces of nature come in to render a helping hand – however, you can only access these divine forces while moving into your agenda. The forces of nature never step into the affairs that are purely within our human control, but are unlocked when the human mind stretches her imagination beyond what is seen in the physical realms;
  5. Fear erodes the sense of confidence within us – the more you succumb to your fears, the more you lose your self-confidence and the inner will to overcome. Many dreams are buried in the hearts and minds of men by mountains of fear that have been built over the years. On the contra, if you overcome your fear today and act, the experience emboldens you to take on the next event despite the inherent fears. With time, your fears become a distant memory and will no longer reflect or manifest in your decisions or activities.

I conclude this article with George Addair quote: “Everything you’ve ever wanted is sitting on the other side of fear”.
